Early life
She was raised in Ponyville by her parents, "Auntie Rose" and "Uncle Orange", who were originally introduced in the episode "Farmer Celestia". She lives with them in a house on the outskirts of Ponyville, very close to the Everfree Forest. She is close friends with Applejack, who is usually the one to see her. However, they are often at each other's throats, with Applejack being the one to care about her. She had a very close friendship with Apple Bloom until she betrayed Scootaloo.
Season one
In the episode "Apple Family Reunion", she had just gotten a new scooter when she accidentally broke it while showing off to the Cutie Mark Crusaders. She had to buy another one, but it had a broken wheel. Once Apple Bloom had fixed it, Scootaloo had again broke it while trying to impress her.
