This is the type of personality that will be most familiar to the average reader, so it is also the type that I myself most closely resemble. I have a preference for sitting down to read, with my feet up on my couch, with a belly full of food, and with a glass of wine in hand.
A full stomach helps your brain be more receptive to new ideas, and with a glass of wine in hand, you can follow the new ideas without feeling too anxious. I typically read one book at a time, and I often need to take breaks to eat and drink.
I’m not sure how this is relevant to my point here, but even if I’m not hungry, I still enjoy eating and drinking while reading. It helps me keep my attention focused on the book.
