Moloch personality type is ESTJ, and that made me think of the land of Mordor. I'm a big Tolkien fan, and Middle Earth is a pretty good setting for a story about a guy who has no real friends. It's also got a lot of stuff you can use to make your characters seem more cruel and crueler. Like why is the world so bad? Well, the world is bad because Sauron built it that way, so you don't really feel sympathy for the orcs or anything. The only good character in that setting is Aragorn, who was an outsider and had to fight a lot of people to get to the top. He's probably the second best character in the books.
I thought of Moloch as being a smart guy, who is really good at getting things done and making people do stuff that he wants. He's like, "I don't care if people die or not, I'll just make them do what I want." I don't think he's actually physically capable of killing people, though. He makes people kill themselves for him, but he doesn't have any hands, so he can't use a gun. All the killings are done by his followers.
