What's your sibling relationship like?
There's no arguing or fighting, and we're not really close. He's very strict and likes to be in control. My brother doesn't let me date, or talk to people. He's got a lot of pride and is very self-conscious. He doesn't really admit that he has a brother who's an otaku, but I know he loves me.
What's the best thing about having a sibling?
You become a part of your brother, so you have to take care of him when he's sick. I've slept over at my brother's house on many occasions. In the past, he has gotten food poisoning, and I've taken care of him while his parents were at work.
What do your parents think about your otaku hobbies?
They think it's strange and they don't understand it. My dad is a big fan of manga and anime, but he doesn't understand why I enjoy anime and manga so much. They're not worried about my hobby because I'm not a delinquent. It's just something that I do; it's like my hobby is manga and anime.
