The story of how the boss has been created, the theme has been chosen by the artist, the colours chosen by me. The whole concept of the boss was created by me, I have no idea if it makes any sense but it’s how I chose to do it.
The story of the self-portrait here, it’s based on a dream I had a few years back. I was on a train and I had to sit in a particular seat so I did, and then I started to see these pictures of strangers in the train, they were all very mysterious and powerful looking, these were people I had never met before. I was looking at them and trying to learn about them but I kept looking at them for so long that my train journey went by and I had missed my stop.
I know this sounds terribly cliche but that experience really inspired me when it came to creating this piece.
