Dolan also notes that the Myers-Briggs test is only a small piece of a much larger picture. "It's not a comprehensive test of personality, and it's too simplistic to be used in the same way that we use the DSM. It's just one part of a much more complicated puzzle. There's a lot more to discover about how people think and how they interact."
Co-founder Leah Busque, who is also a certified Myers-Briggs practitioner, says she's not surprised that the test details ESTJ's approach to life. "It's very common for people to fit into one category -- it's kind of expected. But it's not necessarily accurate," she says. "You feel like you're this person, but you don't know what that means. It could be because you're coming from a different background or because you have another type of personality hidden inside you."
Because of this, Busque says that she prefers to use a more comprehensive test that looks at your entire personality.
