Soemon Nakagami personality type is ENTJ, but to be honest, I don't think it's accurate. I don't think that's what he was. His personality is more like ESFJ. (He's the guy who's always making you feel better and telling you how brilliant you are.) But then I see this: In regards to your post, I do think that it's important to know what one's type is, especially if one is interested in a particular career. However, for how one is, I believe there are more important things to consider. What type you are is a great reflection of your values and your interests, but it doesn't necessarily tell you how you will behave if you are put in certain circumstances. For instance, I am an ENFJ, and I do not claim to be anything else than that. It is not that I think that my interests and values make me behave differently than an ENTJ would. I have been around both types before, and I know that, in terms of values and interests, they will both be similar. But the difference is that ENTJs are driven by their values and ENFJs are driven by their interests (I actually wish ENFJs were more driven by their values).
