PB: I definitely can make my own decisions. I don't think I have the same strong opinions that some of my friends do. I'm not as independent as some people are, but I definitely can make my own decisions.
ST: Were you ever afraid to make mistakes?
PB: Not really. I was more afraid of failure. But when I was younger, I tried to be perfect. My mom was very critical and very strict, so I tried to be perfect all the time. I guess I learned that perfection is not good for the soul. It's not good for the soul to be perfect all the time, and you can't be perfect all the time because you have to do imperfect things sometimes.
