He also seems to enjoy playing tricks on people, though he's not always successful. He doesn't enjoy making friends, but he is willing to help out someone when he believes they're in trouble.
Background
Ichijou was born in Ayanagi, Iwate Prefecture, Japan. As a child, he would often go into the mountains to gather herbs. On one such trip he was bitten by a poisonous snake.
