He ultimately chose Iowa, where he will play running back for the Hawkeyes next season.
"I'm going to go anywhere," said David. "I've been recruited by a bunch of schools. I'm just looking to land somewhere and go to school."
David's mom, Linda, is his biggest fan. She watched her son grow up on the football field and in the classroom. She's dedicated to making sure he does well in college and beyond that.
"She's been great," said David. "She's been pushing me. She's a great mom."
