He has an extremely logical mind and an analytical approach to problems. His analytical mind carries over to that of a businessman, as he’s very good at crunching numbers and seeing the bigger picture.
This is probably why he didn’t feel comfortable with his Si-dominant wife, for whom logic isn’t the first thing that comes to mind, and some may even say that she’s “intellectually lazy.” We see the same thing in his interactions with his children as well. This is why he has such a hard time with the couple’s finances, which are run by his wife. The less logical side of him, Si-dominant Si, goes into overdrive when he gets frustrated with her. I think it’s fairly clear from his description what is going on there.
