Michael "Tea Leaf" Fry personality type is INTP, but I'm too lazy to look up "what type is 'Tea Leaf'". I have PIS, but I'm a semi-inactive poster.
As for the OP's question, it's a good one. I don't think most people are aware that there is a difference between INTP and INTJ, and think of them as pretty much the same thing. That's what I've seen in the forums.
I think the difference is largely based on how they perceive, process, and interpret information. In my opinion, the difference between the two types has nothing to do with their "enthusiasm" or "lack of enthusiasm". As far as those sorts of things are concerned, I don't really care about things like that. What I care about is the ability to get information from a situation and get a clear picture of what's going on and how to act in order to come out ahead.
INTPs don't often come off as particularly enthusiastic. They tend to be slow to process information and make decisions. But they're not just sitting around waiting for things to happen.
