Nanko is a calm, intelligent, and kind boy who is considered somewhat of an outcast due to his ineptitude with machines, despite his endless kindness and compassion for other people. Due to this, he has a tendency to be rejected or ignored by others and is often talked about as "lazy" and "crazy". He is also very protective of those he cares about; he will go to great lengths to help them, even at the cost of himself. Despite his short temper, Nanko is a very kind person who will do anything to help someone if they ask him to do so.
He often gets confused and frustrated with his own emotions and is usually seen blushing or flustered when someone has told him something nice about him. Because of this, he is often thought of as a pervert due to his constant flirting with other girls.
