Biography
Early life
Fenrir Greyback was born in Spring Cove, England, to a Muggle couple, who were overwhelmed by the newborn's appearance. As such, the couple were unable to care for him and left him at a local orphanage. There he was picked up by a family of vampires, who gave him the name "Fenrir". He later escaped and ran away from the vampires and joined the Order of the Phoenix, where he met James Potter and Lily Evans. He became good friends with both of them and used to refer to James as his brother.
Order of the Phoenix and the Battle of the Seven Potters
He was one of the many people who fought against Lord Voldemort in the Battle of the Seven Potters. After Voldemort's defeat, he was one of many people who helped carry Harry Potter, who was badly injured in the battle, to safety. He carried Harry back to Grimmauld Place for repairs and left him in the care of his aunt.

Fenrir Greyback was a werewolf notorious for his savagery and preference for attacking children. He was a leader in his community and strived to infect as many people as possible with lycanthropy, hoping to build an army strong enough to eventually take over the wizarding community. It was he who infected Remus Lupin with lycanthropy.
