Everytime I see a post like this I wonder why no one brings up the fact that Famine is also a genderbend of RIN from the series Hellsing. Both are based off of vampires but it seems to me that the only similarity between the two is that they are both bloodthirsty. I remember when Gmikey was first introduced and everyone had their theories about whether or not he was a malevolent entity. It seemed that most people liked him but then there were those who thought he was a femalevolent entity. Who's to say? maybe Famine is a femalevolent entity.
