As far as the other theories go, a lot of them are based on the idea that someone is controlling the Ermeer. The theory that it is Princess Fahumoon (Fahmi in the English dub) is based on the fact that she is always seen wearing a blue scarf, and the fact that she is seen driving a car in the series. The theory that it is a different character altogether is based on the fact that no one has been seen wearing a blue scarf.
There are also theories about it being a different character, but these are based on the fact that there hasn't been any mention of a character named Shou-Shou or Yue-Yue. However, this theory doesn't really hold up because there have been several references to them, and they are mentioned in a couple of episodes of the anime.
Many sources state that the Ermeer has been seen before, but these sources are not reliable. They should not be used as objective sources.
