In the Enneagram system of personality theory, the "spirit seer" is one of eight types that are said to be most likely to be drawn to careers in the spiritual and creative fields. The "spirit seer" is an INTP, according to David Keirsey, who developed the personality system. It is a combination of the "intellectual" and "intuitive" preferences. In the Enneagram theory, "intellectual" refers to the dominant function of thinking and "intuitive" refers to the dominant function of feeling.
More recently, in April 2015, a website called The Enneagram Institute of America has posted the following description of the INTP personality type:
Spirit Seers are excellent at seeing potential in situations and people, and can often see great success for their ideas. They are flexible and open-minded, and can be quite creative. They are usually happy with their lives and tend to be optimistic and appreciative.
