I have come to understand myself and my strengths and weaknesses a lot more thoroughly, and am able to better identify and take advantage of my strengths more than I did before.
I have also become more patient with myself, understanding that even though I feel like I don’t need to be doing this or that at any given time, the only thing that will get me anywhere is hard work. I know that if I sit on my ass for long enough, my laziness will get the better of me, and I’ll get depressed because I can’t do anything. So I know that if I don’t put in the work now, things will get further from me than they are right now.
I know that I need to push myself to go further than I’ve ever gone before, and that it’ll be hard, but worth it.
I have also learned how to deal with my own depression, which has been something that has been a huge struggle for me.
