I'm not surprised because the show failed to show any evidence for her being an ENTJ.

Kikoru Shinomiya (四ノ宮キコル) is a young woman who graduated valedictorian at California Neutralization University and daughter of Defense Force Commander Isao Shinomiya. She is a prodigy in Kaiju slaying and aspired to be the linchpin of the Defense Force in the future.
Kikoru is an arrogant and prideful girl, very confident enough in her ability to look down on people and humiliate them without problems. Despite this more evident trait, Kikoru deep down cares about her comrades and does whatever in her power to avoid casualties or injuries whenever she's on the battlefield. She is also a loyal person, showing gratitude towards Kafka Hibino for saving her, and keeping his secret.
When remembering about her dad she tends to be less secure in her abilities and more serious in succeeding.
