I'm not being sarcastic or making light of the fact that people get bullied. It happens, and I'm sure all of you have been bullied at least once in your life. But I do think sometimes people can get carried away on this train of thought, and I want to make a point about how it is wrong.
First of all, please don't assume that someone is a certain personality type just because they are on the nerdy side. I honestly think the only way we can learn about people is if we interact with them and see how they act and react. If we assume that they're a certain type because of who they like, we could be wrong.
Secondly, bullying is bullying no matter who it's done to or by. If you do it, don't get upset when people get upset at you. Stop doing it.
And finally, stop thinking of people as stereotypes. If you do, you're going to be shocked and surprised by the actual human beings behind the stereotype.
