While Bumblebee was able to defeat it, Sentinel Prime was trapped in a stasis pod and buried deep underground, later revived by Optimus Prime and revived as a Decepticon. He turned evil again after the death of Optimus Prime and was killed by Grimlock.
In the Marvel Comics, he was originally an Autobot, but was eventually convinced to side with the Decepticons. He was killed by Waspinator.
