Captain Jang personality type is ENTJ, which is one of the rarest of the rare. He was born in Pyongyang on February 19, 1943, during the Japanese occupation of Korea, and this was the period when North Korea was under Japanese colonial rule.
His childhood was difficult. His mother died when he was just two years old. His father was a Korean independence activist who joined the Korean guerilla movement against the Japanese occupation. His father had an affair with a Japanese woman and had a son with her. The son was born in Japan, and he was raised by his Japanese mother.
When his father died of tuberculosis, the Japanese police came to his house to arrest him on charges of espionage, but he had already left for China on January 19, 1945, before they could get to him. He joined the communist guerilla movement against the Japanese occupation, and after the war he moved to North Korea to start his career as an intelligence officer. He started his career in Pyongyang in November 1948. He then moved to South Korea in March 1949.
Then, in August 1950, North Korea launched its invasion of South Korea.
