George Douglas McFly (born April 1, 1938) is the father of Dave, Linda and Marty McFly, and the husband of Lorraine Baines McFly. He is of Irish-American ancestry. He had been attracted to Lorraine for some time by 1955 but was too scared to ask her out. George and Lorraine were married on December 7, 1958, and moved into Lyon Estates, their first child Dave was born in 1963, followed by Linda McFly in 1966 and Marty in 1968.
