Niju personality type is ESTJ, and I have a hard time understanding how the worlds of science and the most trivial of my daily details can be so deeply intertwined. For example, I have to turn off the water in the shower to get the temperature just right, so I can wash my hair. But I don’t want to leave a hot spot on the mirror, so I take the time to set up the water and get it to the perfect temperature.
But this is also where I see the powerful interconnection between Niju and its natural world. “Water is sacred,” says one of my teachers in Niju. Water without its own source is murky, mucky and impure. Water without its own source is water that has been impurely manipulated. The source of water is a sacred place, where water is pure for one reason only: It is a gift from the Great Lady of Water.
The same is true for air. There is air from birth to death, but no air was ever created. What we breathe was never created, it was found and discovered. There is no air that was ever added to existence from something else. Air is a sacred gift from the Great Lady of Air.
