John Carroll personality type is ENTJ, a decision making, leadership and a strong self-confidence type who values compassion and altruism.
Carroll is a top-level executive in the corporate world, but is also a deeply religious man. In his book "The Five Love Languages," he says that Jesus was an ENTP. I have long believed that Jesus was an ENTJ, but I have not been able to confirm that.
In this section, I have used only the work that Carroll did with Myers-Briggs. I have not used any of the newer work because I believe the Myers-Briggs test is a great tool, but it can be a bit dated. Carroll worked with different versions of the Myers-Briggs test from the early 1900s all the way up to the current version. He did not make any claims to the test being "new," only that it was accurate. In this section, I will use the current version of the test.
Carroll's work with the Myers-Briggs test led him to conclude that Jesus was an ENTJ. In his view, Jesus was a strong leader, a strong decision maker and a strong leader of men.
