I have always hated superhero movies. I have never seen any of them. The superhero genre is something that I have avoided my entire life. I never was interested in the power fantasies of the genre, nor the one-dimensional characters that are portrayed in most superhero movies. As a result, I have never found any of these characters relatable or believable. I think that’s why I supported the superhero movies for so long, because I felt like I understood the characters on some level. But it turns out, I don’t really know them at all. As a Gemini, I am not the type of person who says “I don’t like this because it doesn’t work for me”. I would rather say that it doesn’t work for me, and move on to something that does. It just doesn’t work for me.

I actually had another experience with superhero movies recently.

Brandon Bruce Lee was an American actor, fight choreographer, and martial artist. Establishing himself as a rising action star in the early 1990s, he landed his breakthrough role as Eric Draven in the dark fantasy film The Crow. Lee's career, however, was cut short by his death during The Crow's production. He was the only son of martial artist and film star Bruce Lee, who died when Brandon Lee was eight years old. Lee, who followed his father's path, trained martial arts and studied acting at Emerson College and the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. He started his career with leading roles in the Hong Kong action film Legacy of Rage and the straight-to-video Laser Mission. Lee also appeared in two spin-offs of the 1970s series Kung Fu, the television film Kung Fu: The Movie and the pilot Kung Fu: The Next Generation. Transitioning to Hollywood productions, Lee first starred in the Warner Bros buddy cop film Showdown in Little Tokyo, co-starring Dolph Lundgren.
