Severo Lima started his career as a child actor and had some roles in TV shows and movies. He also attended theater school and made his stage debut at the age of 12.
In 2005, Severo Lima released his first single, "Seu Amor Meu Amor". In 2006, he released "A Princesa de Juventude" (English: The Young Princess), which is the first single from his first studio album Canto para uma Princesa.
