XXXTENTACION personality type is ISFP, so this is clearly another instance of the ISFP being turned into a villain, but this is also another instance of the ISFP being turned into a villain for being a personality type that is not well-understood.
There have been a lot of good ISFP villains in entertainment. Lucifer from Supernatural, Vidal Sassoon from The Social Network, Hannibal Lecter from Silence of the Lambs, the Joker from Batman, and to a lesser extent, Charles Xavier from X-Men are all good examples of ISFP villains. There have also been a lot of bad ISFP villains in entertainment, but even the bad ones tend to at least have some redeeming qualities to make them more complex than simply being pure evil.
The main problem with the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s treatment of the ISFP villain has to do with the lack of depth in their presentation. The ISFP villain takes on many forms in popular entertainment. Sometimes, the ISFP villain is simply an evil character who does evil things without any redeeming qualities. Other times, the ISFP villain will have some redeeming qualities, but the redeeming qualities are not enough to make up for their other flaws.
