Often people are "disappointed" when they find out their partner has an extreme personality, since they have trouble seeing past the first impression. Because of this, I'd say the ENFP's first impressions of their partner are often negative. However, I think this can be turned around, since ENFPs are often quite observant and quick to pick up on new things. This means rather than looking at their partner's personality for the first time after meeting, they can already have some insight into that person's personality based on little things that they notice. For this reason, I think ENFPs often have a pretty good idea of what their partner is like before they even meet them.
