What is the personality type of Steve Vai? Which MBTI personality type best fits? Personality type for Steve Vai from Hard Rock & Heavy Metal and what is the personality traits.
Steve Vai personality type is ENTJ, the first and most admired type of the four (the first and fourth letters of the first and fourth quadra of Jung's typology).
Vai is an example of the second type, ENTJ. ENTJs are "The Guardians", and Vai is a prime example of this type. For such an individual as Vai, the four pillars of the universe (the four letters of the first and fourth quadra) all come together to make one mighty force, one "legendary", as he says. The only time that they don't work together is when they are set at cross purposes; as was the case with Vai's "Badlands" record. The record's production was a total mess because Vai's band, Ithaca, couldn't find their way through the maze of layers that Vai had put together to produce his vision. The record was a mess, but it was all there in the songwriting. The song "Badlands" was not a "400-page" epic, it was one page, one chord, one lyric at a time, but it was enough to take us through the whole album.
