Sue McLane «Su Tissue». personality type is INTP, and so at one time I was quite sure that this was the reason I felt so inhibited. But sometimes I feel that my mind and my emotions are not 'my own' when I'm under pressure, and that sometimes the things I do feel are not necessarily the things I should feel.
I sometimes feel that I'm a little bit like the character in The Wizard of Oz and can't get back to Kansas.
I have discovered, however, that there is a little part of me which is quite detached. This is the part of me which is sensitive to the feelings of others and to the feelings of events. (This is not necessarily a bad thing, it's just that I've always been a little bit 'feeling/sensing' type.)
For some reason, I also have a strong sense of duty and responsibility. Perhaps this is because my mother is a very responsible woman and my father had been an officer in the military before he died.
I like to take things very seriously but at the same time have a very good sense of humour. I am capable of laughing at myself, for instance.
I have a very strong need to help and to be helpful.
