Eric Woolfson personality type is INFP, and though he did not rank high (at least in the top 4 of the group), he did rank in the top 10 overall. He was also one of the few people in the group who did not have a specific MBTI type listed. When asked about the MBTI, he stated: “I’m an INFP (Introversion/Extroversion/Extraversion/Feeling/Perceiving). I have a pretty strong feeling that it’s a male thing. Maybe that’s why I’m not in the top 4. I can’t be a male INFP.”
This is a very insightful comment, and one that is not often made in the MBTI community, but one that is true to the INFP’s true function. The MBTI tends to be more focused on introversion and extroversion than the INFP’s true function, which is inwardness and outwardness. In addition, it is rare to find an individual who is so open about his or her inner workings, and even rarer to find that individual who is an INFP.
