Roger McGuinn personality type is INTP, sort of. He would be the last person to say that he was an INTP. He's more an INFP, but he's definitely an INTP in the overall scheme of things. He's also, I think, a very unique artist, which is interesting.
I don't think most people are like that. But he is. He's unique in his own way. Having said that, I do think that the INTP's quest for knowledge is something that most artists strive for. It's very important to all of us.
You mentioned the INTP is the last one to say that they're an INTP. I think most people would say that you're an INTP, but probably not to their face.
I'm an INTP. I'm one of the rare ones who admits it to others, I guess. I've also written about my type on my website. I think it's interesting.

It's called "Thinking in Pictures." It's actually more than just about INTPs, because it talks about all eight cognitive functions.
