Art Garfunkel personality type is ISFP, but I’d argue that the personality type of his younger brother, Paul, is more likely to be INFJ. My reasoning for this is as follows:
1) ISFPs are very much social and people-oriented, meaning they tend to use their tertiary introversion to avoid putting themselves out there and making themselves vulnerable to rejection and criticism. INFJs, on the other hand, are very much people-oriented and they use their tertiary introversion and auxiliary function (Fe) to seek out and form relationships and friendships.
2) ISFPs tend to be very quiet and private. This is because they’d rather not deal with other people’s opinions and judgments. INFJs, on the other hand, are very social and like to be around others, but they’re very much about maintaining their personal space and choosing who they want to be around. They like to be around others – but they’re not overly concerned with who they’re around.
