Ryan Ross personality type is INFP, which means he is idealistic, cooperative, creative, and friendly. I know that I, personally, am the exact opposite of most INFPs. I am an INTJ. I give about as much respect to "Us vs. Them" as the next guy, but my INTJ personality type makes me far more skeptical than most about trusting others. I am extremely critical of people and situations, and that is what originally motivated me to write this very article. It's my opinion that people who are kind to me, who treat me with respect, don't deserve to be called "friends".
I'm going to avoid all the "trendy" terms that are used to describe Myers Briggs personality types, because what I'm about to say is not a joke. Myers Briggs is a great tool for understanding yourself and others. However, it doesn't work as well as Jungian theory as a way of explaining people. There are a handful of people in the world who consider themselves MBTI experts. I have nothing against them, but they often come across as arrogant jerks or as using MBTI as a way of justifying their behavior.
