Joe Bonamassa personality type is INTP, but I would not say he is an INTP. He is a bit more introverted than I am, and it is a bit of a stretch to call him an INTP. But he is a rare combination of being both an INTP and a deep thinker, which can be very hard to find.
Debates about the essential differences between the types have been going on for decades. As a side note, I think it is very interesting that the Wikipedia article on the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator lists the descriptions of the sixteen types, but it does not list the descriptions for each type. I guess that would be too much work for them!
I am a big fan of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, because it can help you understand yourself and also help you understand people who are different from you. In that regard, it is a great tool. It is not the definitive word on personality, but it is a great tool. Some people claim that there are no differences between the types, but I believe that is not true. In fact, if you look at the Myers-Briggs test results from different people, there are some very clear differences.
