Robin Pecknold personality type is INFP, and I’ve been dating him for almost a year. It’s not easy and I’m not sure it’s even possible to get along with someone who is so different. I’m not an INFP by any stretch of the imagination but I know what it’s like to be one and I can relate to his personality type. I’ve come to realize that his personality makes it difficult for him to get along with people, and that he has a hard time communicating with others.
I’ve realized that I can relate to him in a way that he cannot relate to himself. I’ve been able to see the ways in which he is a part of me and I’ve been able to identify with his struggles. This means that I know what to expect from him and how to help him in a way that he isn’t able to help himself. We have been through a lot together since we started dating, and I can honestly say that I’m in much better shape than when we met.
We were both in a rut in our lives when we met.
