The Flying Burrito Brothers were formed in 1968 by Gram Parsons and Chris Hillman, who were part of the Byrds. They were a country-rock band, but they also included some jazz and blues elements in their sound.
The band formed after Parsons left the Byrds, but they stayed together for two years before breaking up.
