Bobby Wiggins personality type is INTP, a rare type that was only officially recognised in a 2004 book by a team of psychologists. Wiggins' form of the type was either an example of the INTP variant with extraverted intuition or an INTP with extraverted intuition.

There's a problem in Wiggins' maths skills, however. When he was 13, he was sent to a maths tutor in the hope that he could boost his chances of getting into Cambridge University. The tutor was sceptical and suggested that Wiggins' grasp of the subject might be better in athletics, but in the end Wiggins got into Cambridge and later went on to win five Olympic golds and two silver medals.
