Alex Drake personality type is ENTJ, which is the most consistent with the Drake character in my opinion. I'm not saying that I know for sure what his real Myers-Briggs type is, but it's consistent with the character.
I also agree with JZ, in that I believe his fictional character is a mixture of a few different fictional characters. That's why I say he's a hybrid.
I don't think Drake is a psychopath, I think he's just a very sad and lonely man who's been hurt and betrayed over and over again. He's had that same look of pain on his face for most of his life. And I think that, combined with his innate intelligence and ability to manipulate people and situations, he'd be a very dangerous person to cross, let alone to get close to.
jasonwestmas You look at the nature-nurture debate and it's easy to say nature, but was Drake always like this? Did he have some happy childhood? Did he get the best education and upbringing? Did he have some good friends and mentors?
I think that's part of the problem with Drake, he was never allowed to grow up and be a kid.
