I started writing programs for myself at the age of eleven or twelve. The first one was a program for a chess program that I wrote. After that, I started writing programs for PC games.
I always had a computer in my home and in my school and in my family's home. My parents were always very supportive in this, and they would let me go to the computer labs and write programs for the computers there. After I turned twelve, I started to write programs for PC games.
Reza Negarestani (born 1977) is an Iranian philosopher and writer, known for "pioneering the genre of 'theory-fiction' with his book" Cyclonopedia which was published in 2008. it was listed in Artforum as one of the best books of 2009. Negarestani is currently directing the critical philosophy programme at The New Centre for Research & Practice.
