Urho Kekkonen personality type is ENTJ, the "Dominant" personality type. As an ENTJ, Kekkonen was decisive, energetic, and forceful. Kekkonen's political career began when he began working in the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in 1931, becoming the youngest-ever Foreign Minister in Finland when he was in his twenties. He was the Foreign Minister during the Winter War against the Soviet Union in 1940, and was in charge of Finland's negotiations with the US and UK after the war in 1945. Kekkonen founded the Centre Party in 1947, and was Prime Minister from 1946-1956.
Kekkonen was noted for his many wives, though he is credited for only one of his marriages. He was married to Hanna Leinonen in 1932, but they divorced in 1938. In 1939 he married Paavo Nurmi (died 1992), and had three sons: Martti (1938), Pasi (1940), and Olli (1943).
Urho Kaleva Kekkonen was a Finnish politician who served as the eighth and longest-serving President of Finland (1956–82). He ruled over Finland for nearly 26 years, and held a questionably large amount of power; he is often classified as an autocrat. Regardless, he remains a popular, respected and recognizable figure.
