Ty Blackthorn personality type is INTP, a logical and theoretical thinker. As a child, I was mostly interested in computers and science. As a young adult, I was a mathematician and a computer programmer.
I had a 4 year degree in Computer Science at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. I was going to get a Ph.D. at the University of Wisconsin–Madison but I was not accepted into the doctoral program. After that, I worked as a programmer, mostly for large companies. I have been a consultant. I have been a freelance programmer since 2002.
I have been married for 30 years to a woman who is also an INTP and we have two grown children: one son and one daughter.
What led you to this career and what do you like most about it?
I had a very strong interest in computers and science as a child and young adult. As a child, I would often spend hours on the computer with my father by myself. I even wrote my first computer programs as a child. I was always interested in science and mathematics as well as computers and programming. My mother was more into socializing; she would be more involved in running the household and raising my siblings.
Tiberius Blackthorn is a Shadowhunter from the Los Angeles Institute. He is the son of Andrew and Eleanor Blackthorn and the brother to the six Blackthorn siblings.
