I didn’t have a specific plan when I decided to become an entrepreneur. I had a pretty good career, a good education, a good job. I didn’t really have a desire to work for someone else.
I had been working for a company for about 10 years, and they were getting ready to move from California to Japan. I had been offered a position with theirs there. But I was very concerned about it because I had women with children who would not be able to work there.
