    History

Cluster-7 was an early childhood friend of Sunspot, who was a member of the original New Mutants along with Mirage, Karma and Warlock. They were teleported to the home of Dr. Bolivar Trask by Magneto; since Trask was heading a team called the "Students for a Better Tomorrow", the New Mutants were transformed into Inhumans by him. The students were then captured by the Life Foundation. The team was rescued by the X-Men and eventually escaped.
