Brett Yang (TwoSetViolin) personality type is INTP, so I’m curious how much you can take from his personality. How much is he INTP?
Brett: I was really hoping you’d ask this question, because it’s one of the hardest questions when it comes to how to present yourself. I can’t give a definite answer. I think at a certain point in my life, I became a driven person. As a result, I learned that my way of thinking was very useful. Then I learned that I was an INTP. It’s a hard question to answer, because I know how it feels to be an INTP, but to point out where I get something from INTPs, I think would be to miss the point of what it means to be an INTP.
MEG: You’ve been described as a “poet” and a “storyteller”. How did you get into storytelling? Was there a moment you say “I’m going to do this for a living!”?
Brett: I’ve been writing poetry since I was about seven or eight years old.
