I learned my type from a book. I remember being about five, and my dad gave me a copy of Jung’s Symbols of Transformation. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out what my type was that first night. I would lie in bed and stare at the ceiling, going over the pages of the book to see if I could find a match.
What was your first memory of your type?
I was probably around three or four, and I had a nightmare about a caterpillar. In the dream, I could see my reflection from the side, and I looked very similar to a caterpillar, but I didn’t recognize myself.
