    INTP (9w1)

Ali Alatas personality type is INTP, which can be described as “profound, visionary, analytical, logical, and introspective”. INTPs are notoriously practical, instead of theoretical, which puts them at odds with the rest of the world.

INTPs are not against passionate feeling, but are more likely to develop it for its own sake, rather than for any particular purpose. They are often regarded as dreamers, idealists, or impractical. INTPs are often considered “ridiculous” by other types because of their lack of practicality. This is mostly due to the fact that INTPs do not act on external influences in order to be practical, but rather act through their passions in order to seek truth.

INTPs are often labeled as “dreamers” by the rest of the world because they do not act in accordance with external influences when they are supposed to be practical. Their thought process is much more intricate than the general public gives them credit for. Much like their INFP counterparts, INTPs are often considered to be impractical because they do not act in accordance with external influences when they are supposed to be practical.
