King Hassan II personality type is ENTJ, so I guess it's a good thing that I didn't get to meet him. I still think he'd have been a good fit for the UN. Germany's foreign policy has always been a bit more pragmatic, and less ideologically rigid than that of France or some other countries in Europe. It's a shame that Germany does not have a seat on the Security Council.
I know that some countries have a special relationship with Germany because of World War 2, but Germany's foreign policy has been very independent since the end of the war, and Germany is one of the few countries which has been able to keep its independence by means of foreign policy. France, for example, still has close relationships with American and British governments, but France has been on shaky ground for a few years now because of the unpopular war in Iraq.
Germany is very fortunate to have had three decades of peace, but no one knows what will happen in the future. But I think that Germany will continue to be independent in its foreign policy. The "German way" of thinking is probably more pragmatic than any other countries in Europe. Germany is not based on ideology.
Germany has always been a country which likes to be left alone.
