    St Vladimir of Kiev personality type is ENFJ, INFJ or INFP. Vladimir was a tenth-century prince of Kievan Rus, who, as a child, was tutored by a monk shown to be a reincarnated prophet. Vladimir became the Grand Prince of Kiev in 1016 at the age of nine. Vladimir's goal was to restore the Byzantine Empire. He re-established Byzantine rule over the captured territories of the Kievan Rus and conquered Bulgaria in 1018. Vladimir made Kiev the capital of his state and built a new Church of the Annunciation. The city's name was Vladimir-on-Klyazhma. The Church of the Virgin was built to commemorate a victory over the Pechenegs. In 1031, he abdicated his throne and retired to a monastery where he took the name St. Vladimir, which became popular as the name of Russia's first emperor. An innovative law code, issued by Vladimir's decree, was the first written Russian law. His reign saw a sharp increase in trade; wheat from the European part of Rus was traded along the Volga River. There was a significant increase in population; towns were founded all over Rus' borderlands.
